I am excited to have joined the team of clinicians at Parkside Psychological Associates. I appreciate teamwork and a therapeutic environment that allows clients to openly and honestly discuss their struggles and engage in the process of healing.

My journey in the helping field began over 25 years ago when I earned undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling and a graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from Gannon University. I returned to college in 2023 at Penn West University and earned a Post master’s degree in counseling with a concentration in sexuality.

I have extensive experience working with both adolescents and adults with sexual acting out behaviors and look forward to helping individuals within the CART Program at Parkside Psychological. Included in my experience is treatment work within institutional settings, residential facilities, out-patient services, and in-patient hospitalization.

In addition to sexuality, treatment focused areas include mental health, substance abuse and recovery, crisis management and trauma focused care. I believe all humans struggle at some point in their lives, as none of us are perfect.

I believe in resiliency and the power of healing. A wise person told me a long time ago “through every adversity there is a seed of greater benefit.” This remains my motivation each day as I support others through their journey of emotional recognition and healing.

I believe our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all connected and therefore endorse a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach within individual, family, and group sessions.
