Nick earned his Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice from Thiel College. He obtained his Master of Social Work from Walden University and is a Licensed Social Worker, LSW, for the state of Pennsylvania

Nick started his career offering direct support at George Junior Republic, a youth residential treatment facility, primarily working with youth ages 11-15 years old with various challenges.   

He went on to serve in Meadville at the Crawford County Meadville Mental Health, CHAPS, nonprofit as a caseworker.  At the “Journey Center” he employed evidence-based practices within that site-based setting. Nick utilized strength-based approaches and side by side skill-building activities with a wide variety of individuals. 

At Chaps, Nick also worked in different programs offering support to individuals impacted by mental health and intellectual disabilities and assisted in the development and facilitation of a site-based program for high school aged youth. 

Nick accepts and affirms individuals where they are and building on their existing strengths.  Nick brings his calm and empathetic nature to his daily practice creating a safe space for people to be heard, and to find healing.
