I believe in engaging people with dignity and respect and encourage them to expect these qualities in all of their relationships. 

I have seven years of experience working in community mental health and have worked with people who have a wide range of ages, needs, and conditions. During this time, I have learned how many people suffering from mental health issues are survivors of trauma. 

I obtained my Master of Social Work Degree from Edinboro University. While earning my degree, I was also working full-time with intellectually disabled adults. That unique experience greatly developed my desire to learn new ways to help vulnerable, traumatized people.

I have training in many trauma-focused disciplines such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care. I will continue to learn other helpful interventions during my career at Parkside and will always continue growing as an empathetic person and therapist.
