I am a licensed professional and national board-certified counselor. I graduated from Edinboro University with both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Most of my experience has been related to offering treatment for trauma, substance use, and anxiety. In my last position, I practiced at an inpatient short term residential rehabilitation with adults struggling with substance use disorders.

I have received training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, ASAM treatment planning, Functional Behavioral Analysis, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and somatic processing.

I have experience facilitating both processing and psychoeducational group therapy. My favorite group topics include learning about forgiveness, creating meaning, understanding emotions, issues surrounding control, stress management, trauma responses, and learning about anger. I have worked with treatment courts, probation, and victim services.

I believe in taking the time to understand the whole person rather than stringently focusing on their disorder or offense. Each individual is unique to themselves and should be treated as such. I work with clients to identify both strengths and challenges. I believe in treating people with dignity and respect.
