Chris Laythe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked with men who have displayed sexually problematic behaviors for over 19 years. Chris has also worked with victims of sexual offenses (children and adults), as well as people with intellectual disabilities. Chris has advocated on behalf of ex-felons and men convicted of sexual offenses and roots her work in the belief that everyone has the capacity to change when given the space, time, support, and tools to do so.

Chris began her career in social work on the West Coast of the United States, earning her bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Carroll College in Helena, Montana. She later earned her master’s degree in Social Work at Edinboro University. Chris has completed various trainings related to sexual offenses, mental health, and trauma. Chris has supported the successful graduation of over 200 men convicted of sexual offenses during her time with Parkside.

Chris believes in treating everyone – most especially her clients – with respect and honoring the reality that everyone has a story. She believes her clients can be held accountable for what they’ve done but can be helped and supported so they can change their lives and become healthier members for their own families and communities.
