“I chose to work at Parkside because I admired the therapists and individuals already working at Parkside. I viewed many of those professionals, from my experience working in mental health, as mentors.
I have always admired our CEO, Audrey Smith’s approach and commitment to providing services in this area and was excited to have the chance to work with her.
I feel proud to be a part of the Parkside family and believe in the mission to influence the community we serve by building upon their strengths and resilience to bring about the power of healing.
I knew I wanted to be a part of that!”
I am a licensed counselor with 15 years of professional experience working with youth, adults, and families in home, school, and office-based settings in Crawford County.
I began my education at Allegheny College and graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I continued my education completing my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling through Walden University.
Throughout my career I have worked with various populations in various capacities in the mental health field. I have worked with children and their families providing eco-systemic structural family therapy, case management, and crisis intervention services. I have also worked supporting children in the school setting by providing individual and group interventions in a school-based behavioral health program in a local elementary school. Most recently I provide outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in office and school-based settings using various therapeutic models to treat individuals who have experienced trauma.
I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), TF-CBT for complex trauma, Real Life Heroes, Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART), and am currently pursuing basic training certification in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, aiding them in the healing process. Through listening to the stories of my clients, I search for the resilience that they possess and opportunities to increase this. I offer a safe and welcoming environment where I hope peace can be provided and healing can take place.

Our team of experienced therapists and compassionate support staff are here for you.
We look forward to meeting you.
